Trade Log: Recent Trades Featured by My Strategic Themes

Recent Trades (since last trade log) that I might have forgotten to mention.  I also was selling some old stock received as part of executive compensation at my previous employers. As I've previously mentioned I don't like to detail trades from these companies.

Selling Assets that have benefited from the drop in interest rates and will negatively affected by a rise in interest rates:
Sold Pioneer Tax Advantaged Balanced Closed End Fund PBF at $13.49
Sold iShares on Corporate Debt ETF  LQD at $105.91
Sold Equity Office Properties EOP at $41.35


Buying Assets that will do well with a rise in inflation:
Bought iShares Treasury Inflation Indexed ETF (TIP) at $99.30
Bought July 2116 Maturity US Treasury Inflation Indexed Bonds at Government Auction
Bought Rayonier Inc - REIT (RYN) at $39.21
Sold Short Andarko Petroleum (APC)  May 35 Puts at $0.85
Bought Conoco Phillips (COP) at 60.42 (mentioned here)


Buying of cheap consumer brands that will benefit from a decline in the dollar and rising economies in Asia:
Bought Coke (KO) at $46.81
Bought Yum Brands (YUM) at $58.00
Bought Diageo (DEO) at $72.87 (mentioned here)
Limit order - yet to executed on (VPL).

Option Strategies:
Sold Nasdaq100 Index (NDX)  Straddle at $61.60 (purchase discussed here) (sale discussed here)
Sold NLY (Annaly Capital Mngment) Jan 2008, 12.50 strike puts at $1.15
Sold NLY (Annaly Capital Mngment) Jan 2008, 15.00 strike calls at $1.00 (against long stock position)
