Rescue Inspector Markings
Click on photo to see what each part of these post hurricane/flood inspection markers mean. It's really morbid. It put a lump in my throat to imagine the government official on boats looking through houses for bodies.

I am including a link to this post in today's edition of the "Carnival of Hurricane Relief" -- the homepage can be seen here:
I am always looking for photographs to use for the top of the homepage. Would you be willing to let me use some of your flickr set linked above?

If you click on the top photo it should take you to the flickr photo, where I explain them with note boxes over each entry but here it is as I know it:
I was told by a local (but have not been able to confirm) that they are as follows:
1. Date (at 12 o'clock)
2. Entry Status (at 3 o'clock)
3. number of dead number of animals (6 o'clock)
4. some kind of inspector identifier (9 o'clock)
